A bit of a rant in response to what I see and hear. Getting frustrated by so many negative attitudes.
Don’t get your shirt in a knot now because of what I write here 😉

I wonder when they (the media in particular, but individuals also) are going to start hauling people over the coals for inappropriate remarks, slurs and assorted derogatory displays in reference to the man who was elected the American president, as well as to others? Why is THAT such a free for all?
Respect used to be expected as common decency but now ready slander seems to be the accepted norm. Mainstream news is not helpful in this respect.
No doubt some will say “respect where due” and so on. I’m not supporting all behaviors of people in power or otherwise in saying this. I’m only concerned about a lack of decency in relationships with people, and apparent blindness to anything positive due to entirely negative attitudes on the part of some.
How does this type of negativity help or heal the situation? Usually this type of thinking/speaking works in cycles (negativity brings negativity which just gets worse) and the cycle can only be broken by a decided adjustment and commitment to positive thinking/speaking.
Speak positive recognition (even if it is hard to find) and healing into distressing situations and watch what happens…..this is what I believe and attempt to do in life, because I believe in that kind of balance wherever possible.
I have found that grace extended can work miracles in many situations ❤
Just my thoughts as I observe things in my world ❤

May our words be so seasoned as to bring harmony and beauty where none has been thus found ❤

Honestly, if you truly believe in God, which I know you do, maybe it might be better, to let people be accountable to God, and not you.

Yes, i believe that is the best, but I’m just human and sometimes feel the need to vent. I have remained pent up too long. I do not feel people need to be accountable to me at all. I just wanted to share my feelings and perhaps cause someone to think a little differently……
