Day 18, An Attitude of Gratitude

Today I am thankful for you. Yes, YOU!

You have affected my life, you have influenced my thinking. You have brought me joy, laughter, tears. You have given me much to be thankful for and much to think about.

You have been there for me. You have comforted me, strengthened me, corrected me and loved me. You have congratulated me and supported me.

You have helped me see beauty in life.  You have shared your wisdom with me. You have taught me. You have been patient with me.

You have opened doors for me  and broadened my mind. You have urged me on when I was ready to give up. You have given me of yourself and showed me how to give to others.

You have shared your joys and your disappointments with me, your sorrows and your pains and you have allowed me to rejoice with you and to comfort you. That has been my privilege in knowing you.

You have sometimes exasperated me and tried me to my limits.  I learned something! I am the stronger for it. Thank you!

I have thanked God for you, for placing you in my life. I’m not sure where I would be without YOU! I know my life would be a little emptier. I’m glad you are in it!
