An Attitude of Gratitude, Day 8

Today, I am thankful for my granddaughter, J  who has been having her 7th birthday today. It was so nice to chat with her for a while on the phone. I love her excitement and joy in the small things.

I love having a little girl to buy pretty things for. I brought up 2 boys, so there weren’t things like “jewels” and nail polish 😉

Jayden is a delight. I so appreciate the time I get to spend with her. I enjoy the love she has to give and I love her right back! She brings sunshine into my days 🙂

I am so looking forward to having here here at some point in the holidays, perhaps to spend Christmas together. That is my hope for this Christmas, as part of our family healing this year.
