A taste of FAITH, a touch of LAUGHTER.

An Attitude of Gratitude, Day 12

Day 12, An Attitude of Gratitude

December 12, 2012

Today I am thankful for the “compass” I have in my life, the Word of God, the truth.

In a world that is so mixed up and sometimes so fearful (the end is upon us this month!?!) I am so very glad for bible truth and solid faith in the One who inspired it all to be written down.

I can face the future with some confidence, because I know that no matter what, God’s word tells me that He loves me, that He has redeemed me, and that I am secure in Him for eternity. My hope rests in Him, not in this world or anyone in it.

I don’t need to be afraid of the things said by man, or his ideas of how things are going to be. Man has failed time and time again. That is his record.

““God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good? ” (Numbers 23:19 NKJV)

Who do you believe? In whom do you place your trust? Upon what does your security depend? Hard questions but they need to be answered……

“I handed you a land for which you did not work, towns you did not build. And here you are now living in them and eating from vineyards and olive groves you did not plant.

“So now: Fear God . Worship him in total commitment. Get rid of the gods your ancestors worshiped on the far side of The River (the Euphrates) and in Egypt. You, worship God .

“If you decide that it’s a bad thing to worship God , then choose a god you’d rather serve—and do it today. Choose one of the gods your ancestors worshiped from the country beyond The River, or one of the gods of the Amorites, on whose land you’re now living.

As for me and my family, we’ll worship God .” (Joshua 24:13-15 MSG)

I choose today, to worship You, Father, because of the wonderful truth I find in Your word. Your word is sure, and a wonderfully reliable “compass” for life.

You have provided for me in miraculous ways. My life is in Your hands and I trust You with it. I praise Your wonderful name! \o/

Thank You, Father!
