Today, I am thankful for technology!
Yep, this Granny loves her iPhone and makes a lot of good use out of it every single day 😉
I do not understand how the thing really works, of course, (it’s just awesomely amazing!) but I am glad it does. With it, I can keep in touch with my friends and family. I can exchange pictures and send messages. I can even SEE and talk to people online!
I use it to keep track of everything, like appointments and events. I have lots of apps, almost 7 full pages!
I have an app that reminds me to drink my water and records how well I do that, a pedometer for recording my walking, and other exercise and health apps. I have a First Nations language app and one for French so I can learn these things whenever I want.
I have the whole bible in my iPhone! That is so awesome. God’s word right at my fingertips to read, use and share! There are a couple of devotional apps there for my instant use also. Amazing!
I can check all my utility accounts, my bank accounts, do my online banking, pay my bills, and send e-transfers. I hardly ever need to visit the bank!
I have an office app that let’s me write documents and I can print them right from my phone. I can scan documents into the phone and mail them off with my email app.
I can play games and do crossword puzzles. I can keep a grocery list. I can keep track of what I eat and how I lose weight. Oh my!
This little piece of technology fits in my hand and it’s my phone, my camera, and my computer. Absolutely unbelievable!
Thank God for this marvelous invention! I do not know where I would be without it…..
Goodnight from a techno Granny! 😉

You have inspired me to start a gratitude journal. I have thought about doing one before, but as I am reading yours, I think it would be interesting to read mine years later, too. Thanks! I am grateful for YOU!
