A Journey With My Mom.

A new day with Mom.

Mom opened one eye, and I said, “There, I see your beautiful brown eye” 🙂 Later, she opened both eyes just briefly…..thank You, Lord!

An air mattress arrived for Mom today, to help against pressure sores, though the nurse says she is still free from those….they are just worried about it because she has been bedridden for a long time now and want to prevent that as much as possible.

They will install that tomorrow, which means Mom will have a major move out of her bed and back in after. I hope it will all go well. I may not be there because I have a visit with my brother in Perth at some point tomorrow.

I am beginning to realize how short the time is. Only a few more days to be here. Trying not to think about that too much…….

All in God’s good hands……
