No God, no hope
Know God, know hope

Seeing some things lately that bring home how sad and broken a life without faith really is, mainly because there is no hope when things go wrong, no vision of any possibility of change. There is no God in Whom to trust with the outcome of the circumstances that must be faced alone, without His presence to comfort and strengthen, and overcome. That is a very lonely proposition.
My prayer is that if you don’t know Him today, that you would seek Him out. He loves you and His promises (of salvation, of His presence and hope in Him) are waiting for you when you come to Him.
I’ve never been sorry that I asked Him to come into my life so many years ago now. I read the gospel of John and gave the mess that was my life then into His hands. He took it and changed things by the work of His Spirit in my day to day life. He has shown me His love and His faithfulness in everything on a daily basis. Life is not always easy but there is comfort in knowing His presence and hope is found in trusting in His goodness and His plans for my life, despite my circumstances.
I’m not alone.
