Recognize These Ladies?

These are two little collector dolls I have. The one singing on our right is Belle, which I spotted noted on the base, but the name of the other one (the teacher), which I had also noted on the base, has faded out.

The teacher looks like she is looking upwards for divine help or inspiration. I can say I know that feeling well. Belle loves to sing and so do I, and she is wearing the tartan of my homeland.

 I don’t remember the name of the creator of these dolls. Perhaps someone recognizes them?

Can anyone help?
