A taste of FAITH, a touch of LAUGHTER.
Remember the WWJD bracelets that were all the rage among Christian young people a few years ago? While many of the people who wore them may have actually wondered what Jesus would do in any given situation I tend to believe the bracelet fad, as it were, was more about doing something because everyone else was doing it than it ever was about what Jesus would actually do.
More about wearing religion on one’s sleeve and less about the love Christ would show to those who need it most.
More about a sentiment than a meaningful action.
More about an outward appearance than an inward commitment.
In any case, and although the fad now seems as tired and lame as mullets and parachute pants, it is still sometimes fun to play the WWJD game when we have the opportunity, isn’t it?
