A Real Friend
Philippians 4:8
“Looking beyond to see the spiritual”
I thought this as I looked at a plaque in my missionary friend Ellen’s house.
It reads:
“A real friend is…..
One who overlooks your broken down gate
And admires the flowers in your garden”

You SEE the PHYSICAL picture.
Broken down gate…
Flowers in the garden…..
But do you see the SPRITUAL picture beyond?
Yes there are the problems, the faults, the things that don’t seem to be getting looked after………
But there, in the midst, the “jewels”, the things that are blooming, despite the environment.
See THOSE……..!
BE A REAL FRIEND TODAY!
