A taste of FAITH, a touch of LAUGHTER.

The Well

The Well

Jan 8, 2008, 8:47 AM

The forgiveness of God is like a well that will never get plumbed……..it just goes on and on, deeper and deeper…..if only our ability to forgive was like THAT!
Instead we hang on to it all, dispensing it meagerly and grudgingly at times……our well of forgiveness can be so shallow!

If only we could know the JOY of letting go!

The FREEDOM of letting God……..

It’s often a tough one for me…..for many of us, I’m guessing, because of our stuggle with the flesh, but here we are in God’s school and He is so patient and loving…….and forgiving!

May I allow God to carve out a deeper well of forgiveness in my life…….

Praise be to God for His unending grace!

(Ann Justin)

********************************

“The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger and plenteous in mercy and loving-kindness. [James 5:11.]

He will not always chide or be contending, neither will He keep His anger forever or hold a grudge.

He has not dealt with us after our sins nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.

For as the heavens are high above the earth, so great are His mercy and loving-kindness toward those who reverently and worshipfully fear Him.

As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us.”

(‭Psalm‬ ‭103‬:‭8-12‬ AMP)
