WordPress is not as easy as Facebook with regard to keeping in touch. I’ve had to search out a few people lately, but it’s harder here when site/blog names change or people move to different venues.
For example, I wondered who D.S. was, because he/she had “liked” my post, so I went to look and found someone I had been previously “following” closely. A WordPress friend……cdog !
I still don’t know many real names here, only “flavours“. You get to know how people “taste” from their writing.
I have trouble with names anyway, even in life outside of WordPress, so please forgive me if you have given me your name and I forget. I need LOTS of interaction, generally, to hold a name in my memory, and the necessary interaction is not so easy in the world of WordPress.
I still wish WordPress had a private chat function for things like that……people should be able to get to know each other better if they wish!
C’mon, WordPress!
Give us CHAT!
AJ ❤
Aha! I found it! (I’ve been in a car traveling and had to get to WIFI, lol). Cdog = D.S. = Deb 🙂 So glad you wrote this — there is a clear and present need for a WP chat, I do so agree! Hope you’re having a wonderful Sunday. 🙂

Yes, and a little thing popped up asking me about how WordPress could improve, so I told them and provided a link to my post!!!!

Great! Good for you, Ann! I’ll betcha WP doesn’t expect to get too much feedback so it’s good you’ve shared your idea. Now, if they incorporate it you’ll need to get some shares of stock I’d say. 🙂
