I love this “double take” pic of my husband and I shortly before our wedding in 1981. My love. The one I chose to marry. The father of my sons. He passed away suddenly in 2006.
I miss him dearly, especially on days like this, when he would remember the occasion with a sweet gift of some kind. He was a very romantic and thoughtful man. Oh, the stories I could tell! ❤
I have been blessed with some good, kind, male friends in the days since Jim left us and that has helped to ease the pain of loss, though it can’t replace the love I had with my man.
Thinking about my Jim this Valentine’s day ❤
Love you, sweetheart! ❤
AJ ❤

Ahhh, that’s a lovely photo. We’ve lost something with our new digital age, no more double exposures and fascinating film quirks and errors. Happy Valentine’s day! A bittersweet day for you, I’m sure. May God wrap you in comfort and good memories.
