My good friend, Eva, likes to bless me with flowers. I like to take pics of them at various stages, so that I can enjoy them still once they are gone.
I’ve had this particular orchid for some time now. I’ve been able to keep it alive with the help of another good friend, a neighbour, who frequently resuscitates my ailing plants. George has brought this one back to blooming life twice now.
I’m fascinated by the blooms and I’m constantly trying to capture, with my iPhone, that beauty I see before me.
Love my long lasting orchid gift and the pleasure I derive from it.
Thanks, Eva! ❤
Have an awesome day, folks!
AJ ❤

It’s lovely! I can never keep an orchid alive.

Still, better than buying a bouquet…I might not ever get them to rebloom, but the original flowers last a long time 🙂

It’s always good to have someone who can help with exotic plants. Or everyday ones! Thank you for sharing the pictures. Maybe I’ll try orchids again.

I just send my orchid off on “holiday” annually (to my neighbour’s place and it comes back rested and better than ever! That way we both get to enjoy it 😉

Brilliant idea! My soon-t0-be daughter-in-law gave me an orchid to cheer me up right when I was caring for my husband when he got cancer. NOT the time to have a plant that needs attention. lol
