I wrote this in 2011, but it could apply to today or any day. I struggle with many things but specifically family losses, the return of cancer and depression in 2021/2022. Situations arise and drive me back to God and His word. Publishing this today…..

SPIRITUAL WARFARE?

My Heart Prayer to God…
Dear God, my Father in heaven….
I’m struggling….
There is nowhere to run from this thing called life…..wherever I go, it will catch up with me….situational freedom is only temporary….going here or there does not solve the problem….
I don’t know how to escape!
Anything I can depend upon, except You, God, that is, can disappear, vanish without a trace. So my freedom does not lie in dependence upon anyone or anything, outside of You, God.
Why am I being taught this lesson NOW?
What am I supposed to DO?
Help me dear God..
I cry out to You…

God answers unfold from His Word, which never returns void but accomplishes that for which it was purposed…..
Isaiah 55:11 “So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth;
It shall not return to Me void,
But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.”
James 1:2. “My brethren, count it all JOY when you fall into various trials, 3. Knowing that the testing of your faith produces PATIENCE.
4. But let PATIENCE have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.”
Finding the JOY in the midst of trials and testing produces patience which will COMPLETE us as His children
Colossians 1:13 “He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.”
Darkness has no true power over us because of what Christ did on the cross for us. We are DELIVERED !!
Colossians 1:9 “For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be FILLED with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding
10 that you may walk WORTHY of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God
11 strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all PATIENCE and longsuffering with JOY;
12 giving THANKS to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light.”
Fill me Father, with the knowledge of Your will that I might have the wisdom and spiritual understanding I need to walk worthy and in YOUR strength alone.
Colossians 1:16 “For by Him ALL things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created THROUGH Him and FOR Him.
17 And He is before all things, and IN Him all things consist.”
Jesus, God in the flesh, who walked among us on this earth is the SOURCE, the REASON and the PURPOSE!
Amen and amen!
Isaiah 55:12 ” For ye shall go out with JOY, and be led forth with PEACE: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into SINGING and all the trees of the field shall CLAP their hands.”
A promise of JOY, PEACE and WORSHIP!
Remember this: Psalm 30:5b “Weeping may endure for a night but joy comes in the morning”
In closing, Psalm 30:11 and 12…..
11 “You have turned for me my mourning into dancing;
You have put off my sackcloth and clothed me with gladness,
12 To the end that my glory may sing praise to You and not be silent.
O Lord my God, I will give thanks to You forever.”
HALLELUJAH!!!!

Update:
God is faithful…..
God is good!
His word endures forever…..
I am not alone.
God will make a way….
