Surprise!
A sudden craving for ice cream overcame me. I headed to the freezer. My favourite dessert. Couldn’t wait. Rummaged everywhere. Disappointment!
Wouldn’t you know it! Out of it! Oh no! Of all things! Just when I wanted it so badly!
I decided to head to the local store, just a short walk away. Got outside and then I saw it! Surprise! SNOW!!!!!! Oh my!
A white blanket, falling everywhere, including on ill prepared me! Brrrrrr! But magical! Awesome!
Having procured the sought after tub of ice cream, I headed home again through this white wilderness, snowflakes dotting my hair and my face, enjoying the crunch of the snow under my feet. Glad I came out. Wouldn’t have missed this for the world!
Once inside, I reached for a towel. Briskly dried my hair and face. Tingle! Glow! The warmth and coziness of home, combined with the fresh energy of that cold outside world. Indescribable!
Got myself a bowl. Put in three generous scoops of my favourite “food”. Sat in my comfy armchair.
Mmmmmmm, ice cream! Delicious! Satisfied at last 🙂 It was worth every minute of the wait!
Sometimes, happiness is ice cream shaped 😉

Very creative, and in far fewer words than the allotted 500. Nicely done!
