God is still into deliverance……

I had a bout with depression, and God delivered me in an unmistakable way. I just wanted to share, in this kind of “poetry” format, what happened…how God rescued me from what felt like an impossible situation, with the thought that this might bring someone else HOPE…….

DELIVERANCE

Despair claws at me,
Narrowing my vision to the source of the pain,
And hope becomes a distant pinhead of light,
At the end of a dark, dark tunnel,
And I cannot reach it.

I am sucked into the fog,
Unable to breath, and almost suffocated
And time slips away into a forgetful oblivion,
In a distant, far off land
And I am unable to move.

Where is life? It is not here,
This is living death, of demonic persuasion,
But in a moment of lucidity, I remember God,
And call out His…
