Some Scottish History
For some who don’t know, here is some of the history of hard times in Scotland. I often think about this history of my country when I hear of the plight of First Nations people in Canada. I know there was suppression/oppression of people and rights, regarding culture and property, and even large scale “clearances” of population in the highlands. All this type of persecution comes from ideas of racial supremacy and from greed, from a lack of understanding, and a lack of respect for other human beings.
Very sad indeed.
