A taste of FAITH, a touch of LAUGHTER.
A Capital “P”

Procrastination (with a capital “P”).
I am an expert at PROCRASTINATION.
If something needs to get done, you can count on me to do it…..LATER!
I will do it, for sure, because I said so, but first I have to fight this seemingly interminable battle within myself about exactly WHEN this task will get done and HOW. I know I do NOT have the energy right NOW, that’s a given.
No, I must FIRST do all the mental gymnastics of “preparation”. In my mind, I must figure out the basics of what is is that I am going to do exactly. Then, I have to figure out rather precisely how I am going to perform the task.
These items have to be mulled over very carefully in my mind. I have to size up the enormity of what is going to happen and the exact level of difficulty I will face. I have to weigh all the pros and cons of different strategies before I decide on one. I have to marshal all the “troops”!!!
This is a very tiring activity that needs TIME. It has to take place between several cups of fortifying coffee and several much needed naps, sometimes even an overnight sleep. It requires much brooding deliberation, even twisting of the hair around the fingers, and sometimes tossing and turning in the bed.
You see, it’s not easy being me…
Procrastination (with a capital “P”) 😉
PS. In the meantime, I can always write an article or two at WordPress…. 😉 😛
