Love Light
The flame flickers
The candle glows
And I still love you
And no one knows
No one knows
No one knows
And I still love you
And no one knows
Such a well kept secret
That no one knows
Such a pity
No one knows
That the flame still flickers
And the candle glows.

The candle is, of course, metaphorical. I am the one who flickers and glows and can be swiftly put out or lit again and again. And, as usual, my light is hiding. That’s why “no-one knows’ and only someone very sensitive will ever find that light and bring it out for everyone to see. Perhaps I am doomed to flicker and glow in the dark. But isn’t that what candles are FOR?
