A taste of FAITH, a touch of LAUGHTER.

The Captain of my Ship

The Captain of My Ship

Standing in the wind,
Head exposed to the elements,
Searching the waters ahead
In steady concentration
For untoward danger.

Sitting, hair blowing wildly,
Smiling widely,
In huge enjoyment
Of the speed of the boat
And the beautiful weather

My husband James,
The captain of my ship,
Whose captain is the Lord,
Ruler of heaven and earth
And all of creation.

We have been on wonderful picnics together, and also in the very worst of storms and James always kept all of us safe. I had complete trust in him, in his knowledge of the waters and his wisdom, knowing that HIS trust and certainty rested in God.
