Manufacturers sure are sneaky with their added sugar!

I failed to read a label while searching for bran cereal this morning, particularly the bran buds. I could not find the Nature’s Path one I had found previously, one I really like, so I ended up getting a Kellog’s one. Bran Buds. Must be good for you, right?

Sat down to have some and was really surprised how SWEET it was. Checked the label. Oh my!

TWICE the sugar AND….TWICE the salt per cup! Plus some suspect additives with “ide” and “ate” endings that are not in the other kind. Only healthy stuff in that one!

Goodness me! What did I do?!?!?!

Bran Buds, anyone?

(Just kidding) 😜

Shopping these days is TRICKY!

PS. I will NOT forget to check the label next time!
