Sovereignty and Free Will

I have believed for a very long time that our free will resides right inside the realm of God’s sovereignty. I know it sounds kind of impossible, but I really have not had a problem with that thinking. I know many do. Several people have criticized this belief. They cannot accept it as truth. They have many arguments against it.

The main thing for me is that God IS sovereign, so free will HAS to fit into that fact since sovereignty is one of His many attributes. How to explain how that works is not at all easy for most of us who do believe it.

Sproul gives an interesting talk on this. very thought-provoking, as well as comical here and there. I’m glad I found this talk and listened to it. I want to share it with you all, and I hope that you comment on what you think of it!
