Shadow Fascination

I was out walking today and just noticed the shadows of the trees. I was intrigued and I thought it was worth taking pics 🙂

I also spotted a couple of shaded “nooks” that piqued my interest.

I heard and saw many red breasted robins (?) and tried to get pics. It was difficult.

My husband always called robins “kwaitskwaik” (not properly written, sorry, but a phonetic approximation) in his own language, so that word always comes to mind. I do love seeing them and these seemed to be seeking the shade. The sun was hot!

I was glad to experience the shadows myself today…..a welcome break from the hot sun, and so beautiful ❤
