The Making of an Apron

I really like this idea for making aprons. I wish I could sew. I can, by hand, I know, and I have actually made one dress on a sewing machine oh so many years ago, but I’m not so sure I could do it any more. If I could, I would like to make one of these aprons for a friend who might use it. I don’t have a machine though, except for a pretty much antique one in storage and I’m not sure if it still works!

This is a picture a teacher friend of mine took of me in the simple dress I made so long ago in college days. I am on holiday in Spain, in my twenties, enjoying the sun

I first discovered this creative idea for aprons on a Facebook post, and decided to look for the source. I found it on blogspot. The pictures in the article, and the one of the shirt aprons I borrowed as a feature pic for this blog, are credited to Pinterest.

ENJOY! Hope you make some creative aprons!

if so, share them here, if you can!

Thanks 🙂

My mom was a dressmaker, I wish I learned how to sew before we left the sewing machine in our old house. 🙂

That’s neat. I know people who whip up things on the sewing machine. What a wonderful talent! 🙂
