For the Teachers
This YouTube clip is especially for the teachers, of whom I am blessed to have been one for many years, but also for the parents, who may wonder, and for those outside of the profession who are critical in so many ways of the many wonderfully unique colleagues I have come to know, appreciate and love. ENJOY!
Yay for TEACHERS!
My husband, around report card time especially, would say, “Why don’t you just take a bed over there and sleep in the classroom?” He was a bit frustrated with me and commenting on the fact that I would disturb his sleep when I came in to bed at all hours of the night 😉
When I think of all that effort, all the time invested in little lives, all the money that went into materials, the all consuming focus and thought about the job and the classroom, the many students I met and came to know, and even the prayers said for them in their various life situations, I am amazed. However, when I see what has become of some of these little guys, I am pleased, proud and rewarded to have been even a small part of their process, their journey.
Appreciate your teachers, your children’s teachers! For the majority of them, It’s so much MORE than just a job….
