A Mom’s Hurt
A mom cares
The child rejects
The heart hurts
Who dares?
~
Darts are fired
Wounds are deep
Tears fall
The story tired
~
I do not learn
You’d think I would
This anger deep
No one could yearn
~
Love will rule
It always will
The wounds will heal
I am no fool
~
Like childbirth scar
There to stay
Evidence of love
From times afar
~
Hope does not die
‘Twas not in vain
This too will pass
Beyond the sigh
~
The child seeks
A mom is there
A heart full
Her joy peaks
~
Barriers fall
Hugs are sure
Pain recedes
‘Twas worth it all
~

It can be words. It can be silence. They are both darts. The wounds are just as painful. Moms will know what I mean.
“Love bears up under anything and everything that comes, is ever ready to believe the best of every person, its hopes are fadeless under all circumstances, and it endures everything [without weakening].”
1 Corinthians 13:7 AMP
I don’t know why formatting does not work for me here. Will try to fix it sometime, somehow. It will not show space between verses…..
