A taste of FAITH, a touch of LAUGHTER.

Amputation

I slept for an hour only last night, then was suddenly awake, knowing that with the 8 hour time difference from us in BC, my Mom’s husband was seeing the doctor about Mom, over in Scotland. I was unable to sleep and waiting for news.

I texted both Dave and my brother. No word. Then my brother contacted me, contacted Dave, and got back to me with the news.

Dave, Mom’s husband, has signed the consent form for amputation of leg on Monday. Apparently it’s a 50/50 chance. My Mom might not survive operation.

I slept, mercifully, from about 5 am through til just after 11 am, when I woke up to receive text from Dave. The text says: “Saw doc this morning. Taking her leg off tomorrow and not to expect too much . Will see her tonight.”

Prayers appreciated for Dave, Mom and all of our family.

Thanks…

AJ

Yes, it will likely be tonight in the night, with the time difference of 8 hours between there in the UK and here in BC….
