Daily Minute #6, Life is short

Life is short….

A breath…..

A vapour…

We are finite, in earthly bodies of flesh and blood but eternal God gifts us with spirit, for eternity.

Hard to fathom!

We search for meaning, reason, purpose, somewhere to belong. We seek satisfaction in friends, loved ones, jobs, possessions, experiences.

We question our value, our abilities. We feel alone.

We don’t recognize our Creator, even in creation, nor seek His presence, His wisdom.

Yet He made it all.

He knows it all.

We don’t understand….

God, cause us to SEE you, to KNOW you, Your presence, to experience Your love, know the joy of being one of YOURS!

By the power of Your Spirit working in us, draw us…..

By forgiveness for our lack of faith, our shortsightedness, our many imperfections…..

By your indwelling presence, gifted freely!

Breath ETERNITY into the dayliness of our existence, that we might

LIVE!!!!

“He has made everything beautiful and appropriate in its time.
