What strategies do you use to maintain your health and well-being?
My response right now is multi faceted.
I was very healthy for many years after my first bout with cancer in 2011. I was dealing with depression, learning many preventative strategies. I was still overcoming grief in the sudden loss of my husband in 2006. I was overweight and needed to exercise…..walking, yoga, dance. My diet changed significantly.
In dealing with cancer on this second round beginning 11 years later, I’m currently disabled. I’m using many natural techniques to fight the cancer. Castor oil packs, various herbal applications, supplements, essential oils, iodone…..even bed yoga for the inflammation swelling (lymph reactions) on my feet, hands and arms. All these are helpful in one way or another.
I’m in cancer care locally, reluctantly taking some chemo (4 sessions) along with monoclonal antibody treatments. I am so VERY reluctant to continue. I have some mobility issues but do as much as I can independently.
I have faith and hope which are being tested to the fullest! What was once mostly head knowledge becomes quickly the face of reality! Now I REALLY get it!
Stop seeing the various problems which just get in the way, and start focusing on the solution! My faith and a promise of healing one way or the other!
