The sermon I heard this morning at a church I was visiting talked about how we try to “domesticate” (tame) our faith and make it try to do what we want it to do, rather than allowing it to flow as God wills and living in the wonderfully unexpected freedom of the Spirit. It can be a wild, but joyous, ride, and it is one of complete trust, but you will never regret it and it will be unforgettable.
Are we ready to step out in faith today?
“Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.”

Thanks for reading!
I appreciate your encouragement.
I was blessed and encouraged myself by the pastor’s message that morning. His energy and joy in his walk with the Lord, and the depth of his faith came through strongly.
I love the predictable unpredictability of God. I enjoy the freshness, the inner serenity and often irresistible delight of a life that is following and trusting in God on a daily basis, regardless of what daily circumstance might bring into the picture.
It causes me to smile and say “That is God….”
