I know some of you out there are wondering about my Mom and how she is doing. Well, so was I.
I had not heard from Dave, her husband, so I decided to call the hospital in Perth where my Mom is currently (it’s morning there) and I talked to one of the nurses. Here is the update I got from her:
“Your Mom had the amputation above the knee on the right leg, leaving part of the leg. The wound is healing.
She is eating and drinking and keeping well. Her eyes are mostly closed but they will occasionally open and she will give us a big smile. It seems to be quite spontaneous. She does not seem to be in too much pain.
There is a plan for your Mom to go back home, maybe next week. She is doing very well. It’s surprising how well she is doing, really.”
Wow! Praise the Lord!
Very thankful for prayers ❤
Rejoicing here 🙂

Thanks for the update. I’m keeping you and your mom in my prayers – it must be difficult so far apart.
