Christmas 2025……

What a beautiful Christmas!

Blessed! 

I did not do much about Christmas, but Christmas came to me anyway….in lovely ways!

Unexpected!

Quite a few surprises!

Gifts! Friends! Family!

Friends: 

An old friend for many years had come to stay overnight just before Christmas and left me a calendar gift full of lovely pics of the community we lived in. How I miss that former home!

Another church friend for many years, both here and in my former community, dropped by, a brief visit to bring a beautiful gift! A lovely David Jeremiah devotional and a very nice journal for sermon notes etc, and a box of delicious shortbread! 😋 

Another new friend brought me a beautiful bowl of home made caramel popcorn! Wow!!!! 👀

Another local friend shared Saturday church service with relatives. Very interesting! 

A visit in her home too! A beautiful gift! Teapot nightlight! ❤️ 

Sharing her wonderful home-made food treat gift, two of each kind of nicely decorated, delicious home baked goodies! Lovely vegetable soup to take home hot in a thermos! Yum! 😋 

A new friend from square dance class, texting and planning to meet up for a visit. Nice to have a bit of company once in a while. 😃 

Family: 

My oldest son and I had a nice check up phone chat with things looking better on the home front despite a Christmas setback even worse than last year’s episode! His store in Wainwright had been broken into last year around Christmas and now again this year! Quite a LOSS! The next day his car engine blew and the very next day something went awfully wrong at the bank. What a Christmas! 😢 But much hope for the future and the courage to face it! He is a strong man! I’m so proud of him! ❤️ 🙏🏻 

A visit from my nephew, with thoughtful gifts…… 😀 

My youngest son, home for Christmas, made a lovely, tender deer roast dinner with veggies, stuffing and gravy! Yum! Pie! Gifts!

Visiting in his home with him and his partner, who made delicious gravy, I finally figured out just where they live, after all this time! Good evening of food and conversation….and special shared gifts!

A blessing! Great company and conversation! 

And, wonder of wonders. The gift of a coming new grandbaby together! WOW! ❤️
