What’s the oldest thing you’re wearing today?

This post is entirely in answer to an unusual blog prompt this morning!

“What’s the oldest thing you’re wearing today?”

Strange question!

Haha! Let me see…

Well……..

I happen to be sitting waiting for a home care supervised shower as I read this prompt, so…..perhaps my answer is equally strange!

So, here goes……

The oldest thing I am wearing right now is my late husband’s bath robe/dressing gown!!!!

I like to wear it because I remember him and every time I have it on it feels like a “hug” from him.

He died in March of 2006, which is 19 years ago now, but I can see him wearing this and it pleases me to remember him in it.

It’s so comforting!
