Signs of the Times

If you haven’t been reading your bible lately……….it’s a good time to dig it out, or get one, and start reading it.

The book of Daniel and the book of Revelation speak to what is happening in our world today. It’s shocking to think that these things were foreseen so long ago and are coming to pass in front of our eyes. However, I’m also comforted to know that God has a plan that supercedes the plans and designs of men. I’m trusting Him for today and the days ahead.

Also, make sure to read the gospels, the eye witness books of Mathew, Mark, Luke and John about the life and times of Jesus, and the book of Acts, the events following the crucifixion of Jesus.

If you haven’t found your faith yet, I’d encourage you to seek God in these troubled times, in prayer, for comfort, strength and peace to go through what is ahead. He will see you through.

Jesus died on the cross in our place, and rose again to intercede for us in Heaven. He was seen by many witnesses after He rose from the dead and before He returned to Heaven.

The strength of their faith, and ours, depends on these recorded facts in bible history. The words of scripture hold much comfort and promise for our daily lives.
