Mistaken Identity

Are things always what they appear to be?

Do we really see what we think we see?

An online friend sent me this recently in Facebook messenger. I glanced at it briefly and fired off a response, stating my position on the topic clearly, as I have been wont to do lately.

The friend responded back graciously and asked me to read it! I clicked on it, expecting perhaps that I would find an explanatory article to read but nothing there.

Read WHAT? I replied.

READ it, was the insistent response .

I stared at the image in frustration. What was I supposed to READ!!!!!

Then it CLICKED!!

Haha! We see what we want to see and sometimes we respond automatically.

My friend was having a ball laughing at me….doubled over on the floor in unbridled mirth undoubtedly!

CAUGHT!
