Gratitude Journal….I love this idea. A friend of mine has been doing a Daily Gratitude Journal for the past month and I have been so blessed to read her daily notes of thanksgiving, so I am committed to trying this out for a month!

Here goes!

An Attitude of Gratitude, Day 1

December 1, 2012Today, listening to sirens outside, I am thankful for the city services of police, ambulance and fire station. We are so blessed to be taken care of in this society and most of these services are but a phone call away.

Without them, many lives would be endangered or even lost. With them, I’m given reason to pray for an unknown event or person because I am alerted by the sound.

Sirens are something I never heard in the small community of Kyuquot, where I lived for so many years. I admit to being disturbed by these…
