Skirmish

The morning assaults me with a stream of questions which dance across my consciousness and challenge me to wake…….

I grab a pillow and snuggle myself hopefully back into unanswered oblivion…..

However, morning sounds have encroached the boundaries of my capacity to rest. It can’t be time to get up!
