Shopping and school days in the 1950’s and 1960’s

I was browsing the internet this morning, after hearing TV news on plastic bags, and thinking about shopping in my early days in Scotland. I was born in 1948, so it was life in the 50’s and 60’s. I found a couple of articles, one on shopping and one on schools, both bringing back many memories.
