My button collection is still growing 😉
I came home from Alberta, had one day to breathe, it seemed, and then my granddaughter arrived to stay. What a blessing she is! She brings lightness, fun and much joy into my days ❤
We had SUCH a great time! We went shopping at Walmart with a gift card. She bought an entire outfit. I think she has great taste for such a little one (10 years old). Here she is:
The other night, she asked if she could “fix” my hair. Haha! Check it out! I have new Grandma hair. Hehe 😉
Last night, she asked if we could play with the buttons. I was very happy to do so. It’s a calming pastime and it satisfies my propensity to sort and organize (it’s the OCD in me). We can spend a long time happily doing this. I think it’s an ageless activity, akin to coloring, but then quite different.
This little charmer left me today. We were both crying. She went to her family and I came back to my loneliness. The rooms echo her bubbling enthusiasm and her absolute goofiness 😉
I miss her ❤
AJ ❤
