My sister in law is going through brain surgery today. Doctors found 4 aneurysms in the center of her brain, one very dangerous, meaning surgery was scheduled very quickly.
If you are a follower of my blog, and someone who prays, please join us in prayer for the surgeon, my sister in law, Martha, and all of the family. I appreciate it.
Thank you!
Ann ❤

Just letting everyone know, my sister in law made it through and is in recovery. There were complications but she is alive. They will do some neurological testing to assess any damages. Her vision may be affected.
My niece said about her Mom, “We are just so thankful for now that she is alive. We will handle the rest as it comes”
Praise the Lord! ❤

Saw Martha at last. Her daughter, Maggie, asked me to post an update. We had been warned about her possible appearance, but she looked remarkably good for what she had just been through.
She was cognizant, opened her eyes, made a responsive sound when we spoke, squeezed back on our hand. Did not need to be on a ventilator.
We won’t know more until neurological testing is complete, but these are great indications so far of success. Martha needs a lot of rest now for her recovery and we are leaving her in good hands.
Now the healing begins. Thank You, Lord! Continued prayers please for Martha and family 🙂
Thanks everyone, for prayers ❤

I can’t imagine your family’s pain. I am glad to hear that she made it through the surgery and is in the long, long recovery process. Like your niece said, it’s just good to still have her. I know it’s cliche but you know that God is good and that He loves Martha much more than any of you. I’m certain He is holding her hand. I pray that He holds yours as well.

Thanks!
She really is doing well. I forgot to add an update!
They are calling her “The Miracle Lady” and she certainly IS!
Thanking God for her marvelous recovery. She had half of the staples removed already. I will update again when I know more.
